Zapien’s Salon is making final preparations for Couture for a Cure, A Retro Fashion Show by Norman Zapien & Team with the announcement of the Big Apple Get Away Package. The package is the grand prize of the Couture for a CURE raffle to be held the evening of October 24 and consist of round trip airfare from Atlanta to New York City with airport transfers and hotel accommodations for 2. Each event ticket will be entered for a chance to win one of several raffle prizes with the grand prize being the Big Apple Get Away Package. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased for $50 each and All proceeds from the event and raffle will benefit the organization CURE Childhood Cancer and the Press On to CURE Fund that supports children and their families in the fight against childhood cancer. CURE is based in Atlanta and 100% of the funds raised by CURE help Georgia families and research.

The event will feature hair and makeup brought to you by Norman Zapien and the Team of Zapien’s Salon along with fashions from Atlanta’s NJoy Boutique and Bou-Cou Jewelry Designs. Talent Network Atlanta will showcase some of their top models andthe show will consist of hair cutting and updo performances by Norman Zapien himself.

This event has become a community wide effort with support from Spotlight Theatres-Parkside Main 8, da Corrado Ristorante, Violet Jolie, The Lake Oconee News, The Oconee Cellar, The Lake Oconee Breeze, J Beverly Hills of GA, Expert Edge, Onesta Hair Care, Ace Beauty Supply, Salon Centric, Childre Ford, Childre Chevrolet Buick GMC, Pitter Productions Ink Photography, MG Media, Walt Reynolds of Z97, 2G Marketing Performance Group, Production Resource Group and many more who are joining the efforts daily towards this wonderful cause.
